"10 more to go,” Ravindra Jadeja reacts to CSK's '10 years of Super Jaddu' post

Premier all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja reacted to Chennai Super Kings (CSK)'s tweet applauding him for completing 10 years with the franchise. 

Ravindra Jadeja has been one of the architects behind Chennai Super Kings’ success in IPL. The southpaw has proved his effectiveness with both bat and ball in the league. He was roped in by the franchise in IPL 2012 for a whopping amount of 2 million dollars, which was the highest bid at that time. 

Since then he has been an integral part of the franchise and was also retained by them for the upcoming IPL 2022. The all-rounder was CSK’s first pick for INR 16 Crores followed by MS Dhoni, Moeen Ali and Ruturaj Gaikwad for INR 12 crores, 8 crores and 6 crores respectively.

Ravindra Jadeja has been in association with ‘Men in Yellow’ for 10 years and has scored 1324 runs in 88 innings and picked up 100 wickets for the side so far.

As he completed his 10 years with Chennai Super Kings, the franchise took to their official Twitter account and posted two pictures of Jadeja. The first image was from his debut season in IPL 2012 while the second one was from IPL 2021. 

"10 Years of Super Jaddu #WhistlePodu #Yellove @imjadeja,” Chennai Super Kings Tweeted. 

Reacting to the post, Ravindra Jadeja said that he wants to represent CSK for 10 more years. 

 "10 more to go,” Jadeja replied. 

Apart from Chennai Super Kings, Ravindra Jadeja has played for Rajasthan Royals, Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Gujarat Lions. Overall in 200 matches in IPL, the all-rounder has scored 2386 runs and has scalped 127 wickets.
