International Cricket Council (ICC) compared the batting techniques of the current era star cricketers with their U19 days. They posted a video on Instagram featuring the likes of Virat Kohli, Joe Root, and Babar Azam.
Sharing the video with fans, ICC wrote that the class of the batters featured in the video remain the same even if their technique changed. Root and Kohli played a cover drive in the video, while Smith showed his pull shot.
"Techniques change, but the class remains. Here's how some of the biggest superstars compare to their #U19CWC playing days. Which player has changed the most," the caption read.
The 2022 U19 World Cup is going on currently with the final to be played between India and England on Saturday (February 5).
India will be looking for their fifth U19 World Cup trophy and first after 2018. They reached their fourth consecutive final, and England made it for the first time since 1998.
