WATCH - Shikhar Dhawan and Hanuma Vihari salute the bravery of Indian Army

Shikhar Dhawan and Hanuma Vihari shared a video of the Indian Army to show their courage.

Indian cricketers, Hanuma Vihari and Shikhar Dhawan, saluted the Indian Army soldiers for their sacrifices and courage while safeguarding the nation. Both the cricketers shared a video on social media in which an Indian soldier is guarding amidst heavy snowfall.

Vihari called Indian Army the 'real heroes' in his post, while Dhawan wrote that they are our superheroes who make unmatchable sacrifices for the country. "Our superheroes who make sacrifices that can’t be matched.

"A big salute to all our soldiers who battle the weather daily so we can sleep peacefully. Jai Hind," wrote Dhawan on Instagram.

The video was originally shared by PRO Udhampur, Ministry of Defence. The Jammu & Kashmir post of the Indian army is located at around 17,000 feet altitude. 

Currently, Vihari is in South Africa for the ongoing Test series, which has leveled with one-win each for both teams. They will play the last Test match in Cape Town from January 11.

On the other hand, Dhawan is gearing up for the upcoming ODI series against South Africa. He has been named in the ODI squad and the opener was recently seen at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) with other India cricketers.
