Indian captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma shared pictures from their New Year's eve celebrations as the much loved couple is in South Africa with India currently engaged in a three-match Test series with the hosts.
Kohli, who led India to its first-ever Test win at Centurion on Thursday (December 30), also becoming the first Asian side to achieve the feat, is joined by his family in the Indian team's bio-bubble.
The power couple ushered in 2022 with rest of the Indian team contingent at the resort where they are based in Pretoria. Some of the other players are also joined by their wives on the tour.
Kohli shared pictures with Anushka, teammates and support staff of Team India, as he wrote on Instagram, “We hope everyone is blessed with joy and happiness this new year. We send you our love and positivity.”
Meanwhile, Anushka wrote along with a pic with Virat, “The year that got us the greatest happiness I’ve known. So, deepest gratitude 2021, thank you!”
The second Test between India and South Africa will be played in Johannesburg, starting from Monday, January 3.
