Iceland Cricket's on-field presence may not have made much news but they are a hit among cricket fans on social media. Their official Twitter account doesn't post regular updates like the usual cricket board handles, but they are famous for their humorous posts.

On Friday (December 24), Iceland Cricket shared a hilarious tweet that mentioned India's R Ashwin and Australian batting legend, Sir Don Bradman. They wrote that 'context' and 'luck' play an important role in life and went on to add a couple of scenarios.

“Context and luck is everything in life. If Ravi Ashwin had been born in Sri Lanka, he would probably end his career with as many wickets as Muralitharan. If Don Bradman had been born in Iceland, he'd have scored no international runs and been a below-par fisherman. That's life,” they wrote on Twitter.

The tweet soon went viral and received over 14,000 likes with the Twitterati funnily posting their assumptions related to different cricketers.

This is not the first time Iceland Cricket have grabbed attention for their post. They had once roasted the ex-Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli for not winning a trophy in the Indian Premier League.
