"Found my old bats from dad's shed," Aaron Finch posts his bat collection from childhood

Australia's limited-overs captain Aaron Finch posted a picture of his old bats on Twitter. The collection from his childhood has bats of Kookaburra, Gray Nicholls, and Callen.

Sharing the picture on Twitter, Finch asked his followers to name their favorite old bat. "Just found my old bats from when I was a kid in Dad's shed!! What was your favorite old bat?", he tweeted with the caption.

Finch is currently playing Big Bash League 11 for Melbourne Renegades. He smashed 68 off 43 balls against Perth Scorchers with five sixes and four fours on Wednesday (December 22).

During his knock, Finch completed 10,000 runs in T20 cricket and became the 6th batter ever to reach the milestone. He is now behind Chris Gayle (14,321), Kieron Pollard (11,326), Shoaib Malik (11,274), David Warner (10,308), and Virat Kohli (10,204). 

The 35-year-old has scored eight hundreds in his T20 career, with his best score of 172 off 76 balls against Zimbabwe back in 2018. Finch has also scored 156 off 70 balls in a T20I against England in Southampton in 2013.

Finch recently led the Australian cricket team to their maiden T20 World Cup title. They defeated New Zealand in the T20 World Cup 2021 final to lift the trophy.
