WATCH - Flintoff gets asked if he's a cricket fan; later surprises the guy with his IPL details

Andrew Flintoff stunned a fan who had no idea the former England all-rounder was a cricketer. The video in which Flintoff had a conversation with a fan is going viral on social media.

Hosting a TV show, Top Gear, Flintoff and the fan were sitting inside a car when they talked about cricket. The guy asked the ex-cricketer if he is a cricket fan or not and later questioned about IPL.

The Englishman must not be very familiar with such questions as he was among the popular players during his playing days. When Flintoff revealed he has played IPL for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the fan was shocked.

"Are you a fan of cricket?" asked the fan, to which Flintoff replied, "Yes". The fan further asked if he watches IPL and which team he supports, and Flintoff responded with "Chennai Super Kings". 

The guy was delighted as he was also a Super Kings fan, but the funny moment came when Flintoff revealed he was part of the franchise. "Really, what year? Well, I was a baby at that time so I didn't watch cricket," said the cricket fan who was in disbelief on the Englishman's big reveal.

Flintoff was the highest-paid overseas player when he got bought by CSK INR 7.55 crore.
