Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen spotted his misspelled name on the Wankhede Honours Board after India batter Mayank Agarwal posted his picture. Agarwal recently found a place on the Honours Board for his century against New Zealand in the second Test match.

Mayank slammed 150 runs and helped India post a competitive score of 325 runs in the first innings. He also scored 62 runs in the second innings as the hosts won the match by a huge margin of 372 runs; their biggest win in terms of runs.

"This isn’t just a name on a board. This is all the hardwork culminating into something that goes beyond. Playing Test cricket and contributing to a win for your country is everything for someone who grew up worshipping the game. It’s an honour to be named alongside so many greats," wrote Mayank with his picture next to the Wankhede Honours Board.

Pietersen spotted that his name is misspelled as 'Pieterson' on the Honours Board and he joked about it. "Please ask them to spell my name correctly brother!", the reply read.

The England batter had scored 186 runs off 233 balls, with 20 boundaries and four sixes in their memorable win at Wankhede Stadium in 2012. His strike rate of 79.82 shows how destructive the knock was.
