Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi went up to Bangladesh batter Afif Hossain after the match and ended their on-field tiff with a hug and apology. The incident happened during the second T20I when Shaheen's overaggressive act hurt the Bangladesh batter.
In the third over of Bangladesh's innings, Shaheen dangerously threw the ball back at Afif. The batter was standing well inside the crease after defending the ball but the Pakistan speedster still sent back a full strengthed throw.
Notably, on the previous delivery, Afif had smashed Shaheen for a huge six which might have irked the pacer. But they settled the matter after the match and both had a small chat before shaking hands.
"Shaheen Shah Afridi went up to Afif Hossain post-match," wrote the official Twitter account of Pakistan Cricket.
Pakistan have won the three-match T20I series after winning the back-to-back matches. They defeated Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the second match after Fakhar Zaman struck an unbeaten half-century while chasing 109 runs.
Apart from Fakhar's 57*, Mohammad Rizwan scored 39 runs as they put up a partnership of 85 runs for the second wicket.
