New Zealand's out-of-favor pacer Mitchell McClenaghan has found the ongoing T20I series between India and the Blackcaps 'meaningless'. He posted a tweet in response to a fan who reminded him of New Zealand's series loss on Friday (November 19).

The Blackcaps lost the first match by seven wickets in Jaipur and the second T20I by five wickets in Ranchi. But McClenaghan feels the series doesn't hold much value for him.

Responding to the tweet on New Zealand's loss, the Kiwi wrote, "Did they? You mean in meaningless series 72 hours after a WC final defeat with 3 games in 5 days playing a team with 10 days rest in their home conditions?".

New Zealand had reached the T20 World Cup 2021 final, which was played on November 14 against Australia in UAE. They had to soon fly to India for the T20I series, which started on November 17.

The third and final match of the series will be played in Kolkata on Sunday (November 21).
