Pakistan and Bangladesh are currently playing the second game of the three-match T20I series at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

Opting to bat first, the hosts got off to a bad start as both of their openers got out within the first two overs. However, something happened in the 3rd over of Bangladesh’s inning, which has become a talk of the town on social media.

After being smashed for a six by Afif Hossain, Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi lost his cool and the left-arm pacer nearly injured the Bangladesh batter in his very next delivery as he threw the ball rather ferociously at him.

After taking the blow, Afif fell on the ground and seemed to be in a lot of pain. Shaheen was possibly aiming for the stumps after collecting the ball in his run-up, but he ended up hitting Afif on his ankle.

Shaheen Afridi was quick to apologize to the batter and Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam also rushed in to check Afif’s condition.

Fortunately, Afif Hossain recovered quickly after a bit of assistance from the physio and faced the next delivery from Shaheen. He scored 21-ball 20 before getting out to leg-spinner Shadab Khan in the 9th over.
