Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali surprised the viewers with his pace in the first T20I against Bangladesh in Dhaka. The speed gun showed that the pacer clocked 219 km/hr on the second delivery of the 2nd over, the fastest ball in the history of the game.

The fastest delivery ever bowled in cricket history was clocked at 161.3 kph by former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar against England in the 2003 ODI World Cup.

What confused the viewers more was Pakistan spinner Mohammad Nawaz bowling 148 kph with a run-up of four steps, on the first delivery of Bangladesh's innings. It confirmed that there was a speed-gun error which showed wrong speeds of the deliveries.

The video of both the deliveries is going viral on social media:

Ali was picked as the Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance. He bagged three wickets for just 22 runs in his four overs to restrict Bangladesh to only 127/7 in 20 overs.

In reply, Pakistan chased down the target in the last over with four wickets in hand. Nawaz and Shadab Khan's partnership of unbeaten 36 runs off 15 deliveries for the 7th wicket helped them chase the total.
