Team India members send their best wishes to Ravi Shastri, R Sridhar, and Bharat Arun

Ravi Shastri, R Sridhar, and Bharat Arun's coaching stint ended with India's campaign in T20 World Cup 2021.

Indian cricketers sent best wishes to India coaching staff comprising Ravi Shastri, Bharat Arun, and R Sridhar after the end of their stint. The T20 World Cup 2021 was the last assignment for head coach Shastri, bowling coach Bharat, and fielding coach Sridhar.

Shastri’s coaching career had started after India’s campaign in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Former India cricketer Rahul Dravid has been appointed for the role of head coach now and he will take over from the upcoming series against New Zealand at home.

Kuldeep Yadav thanked the trio for their support and wrote, "Thank you @RaviShastriOfc Sir, Bharat Sir and @coach_rsridhar Sir for your immense contribution to Indian cricket. You have played an important role in taking Indian cricket to greater heights. 

"Thank you for always guiding and motivating me to improve as a cricketer. Grateful for all your support, and I wish you the very best. (Sic)."

The fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, and Umesh Yadav also expressed their gratitude to the support staff. "For the words of support, motivation, and encouragement. For the guidance and the tireless work behind the scenes. 

"For being a constant source of learning and counsel. Thank you for your invaluable contribution and good luck for your future endeavours ????," wrote Bumrah.

Umesh's post read, "Thank you for the guidance Ravi, Bharat Arun, and Sridhar bhai. It was a great learning experience and I wish you the very best. ????????"

Shami took to Instagram and posted his good wishes for the Shastri, Bharat, and Sridhar. "Had a fabulous time working with @ravishastriofficial @bharathi__arun @coach_rsridhar for #TeamIndia. 

"We had our ups and downs, but we always stayed as one family and looked to get better everyday. What a wonderful journey we had and personally I learned a lot. Wish our coaches all the best for future assignments!", he wrote.

Under Shastri, India won a Test series in Australia twice. They took a 2-1 lead in the five-match series against England in 2020 before the series was suspended due to the Covid-19 outbreak in the Indian camp, and the team also won a T20I series in South Africa, New Zealand, England, and Australia.
