WATCH - Ben Stokes posts his first training session clip after finger surgery

Ben Stokes had two screws and scar tissue removed from the index finger.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes took to social media and shared his training session video with fans. He had sustained an injury to his left index finger during his time with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the first half of IPL 2021.

ECB confirmed Stokes had two screws and scar tissue removed from the index finger of his left hand. He will undergo rehabilitation for the next four weeks under the supervision of the ECB's medical team.

"It’s casual clothes training on a Thursday… Generally my first ball back and this is what happened ???? Then a bit of making sure I don’t break my toe Then eventually hit a nice one Great to be back hitting balls ????," captioned Stokes.
