Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Rishabh Pant turned 24 on Monday (October 4) and birthday wishes started pouring in on social media. Pant is currently among the core members of the Indian cricket team and plays all three formats.
Former India cricketer Suresh Raina, who Pant looks up to as an elder brother, posted a picture with the birthday boy and wished for his success. "Happy Birthday to you @RishabhPant17 It is so amazing to see the leader in you & perform so well. Wishing all the success & happiness to you ????????," he wrote.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) wicket-keeper batter Dinesh Karthik has advised other wicket-keepers on the occasion of Pant's birthday. He jokingly warned them to stay a foot away from the stumps when the southpaw is batting.
Karthik's advice came after a recent incident when Pant had almost hit him during the clash between KKR and DC. "Happiest birthday to the one and only @RishabhPant17. An advice to all keepers, stay a foot away from the stump when he's batting ????," he wrote.
Yuzvendra Chahal called him his little brother, while Kuldeep Yadav posted an unseen picture with Pant. Apart from them, Mayank Agarwal, Harbhajan Singh and Akshar Patel also wished him on the special day.
