Australia captain Aaron Finch became a father on Wednesday (September 8) after he and his wife got blessed with a baby girl. He shared the good news with fans and well-wishers on social media.
Finch revealed the daughter’s name, Esther Kate Finch on his Instagram post which also included her picture. There was another picture in the post in which the couple can be seen posing for a selfie with their bundle of joy.

"Welcome to the world Esther Kate Finch. Our little princess arrived yesterday at 4.58pm weighing 3.54kg. @_amyfinch did an amazing job and both her and bub are very healthy!", wrote the Aussie cricketer.
Finch's wife Amy also posted the picture and welcomed the new member to the family. She captioned, "To say we are besotted with her would be an understatement, welcome to our family little one!".
The Australian skipper recently underwent surgery and he's currently recovering before the upcoming T20 World Cup in UAE and Oman.
