India opener Shikhar Dhawan is looking forward to take part in the second phase of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, slated to be held in UAE from September 19 to October 15.
Plying his trade for the Delhi Capitals (DC), Dhawan was the leading run-getter in the first half of IPL 14 with 380 runs before the tournament got postponed due to COVID-19 cases in the bio-bubble of multiple franchises.

On Tuesday (September 7), the southpaw took to Instagram and uploaded a photo in DC’s jersey, looking excited for the remainder of the IPL 2021.
More than the picture, it was Dhawan’s caption that caught everyone’s attention as he wrote: “Kisi bhi mukaam ko paane ke liye poora jaan, samjh, dil lagta hai. Pyaar hona chaiyeh apna kaam ke towards tabhi barkhat aati hain aur enjoyment bhi. Keep on working hard to turn your dreams into reality.”
Shikhar Dhawan’s post comes after the news of his divorce emerged in the media on the same day. The left-hander and his wife Aesha Mukerji have parted ways after eight years of marriage.
Aesha confirmed about the separation in a lengthy post on Instagram. They had tied the knot in 2012 and were blessed with a baby boy Zoravar two years later.
