Hafeez, however, showed no mercy with the bat and hit back-to-back boundaries when he got the strike taking Guyana Amazon Warriors to 146/8. The Pakistan player, batting at No. 6, scored an unbeaten 38 runs off 31 balls.

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots chased down the target with eight wickets and seven balls to spare.

Notably, Hafeez had refused to inflict a ‘mankad’ against Joe Root in 2019. He instead asked the batsman to slide his bat in and stay grounded as a warning.

Bravo, on the other hand, was caught taking an unfair advantage at the non-striker’s end for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
