India cricket legend and Bharat Ratna recipient Sachin Tendulkar has been a big advocate of encouraging kids and everyone to play some kind of sport not only to keep oneself fit but also happy.
On the occasion of National Sports Day, Tendulkar shared an emotional video on his social media accounts in which he is seen playing cricket with physically challenged kids. Tendulkar, who is known as a god among his fans, leaves no stone unturned when it comes to charity.
He is a regular when it comes to surprising these kids working on behalf of some NGOs.

In the video, Tendulkar urged people to play sports because it brings happiness to lives and mentioned “This national sports day, play any sport with kids around.”
National Sports Day is celebrated across India on August 29—which is also the birth anniversary of iconic Hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. He won multiple gold medals in Olympics: 1928, 1932, 1936. He accounted for 570 goals in his career, from 1926 to 1949.
On this occasion, former India players Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir also tweeted messages paying tribute to Hockey legend Major Dhyanchand.
Yuvraj Singh paid tribute to hockey wizard Major Dhyanchand and tweeted: “Paying my tribute to Major Dhyan Chand ji on the occasion of #NationalSportsDay. Today, our country is producing exemplary sportsman in all disciplines and it is my hope that the number of people playing sport continues to grow with each passing year!”
Gambhir, on the other hand, posted, “He was not just a name in sports, he became the sport itself! #MajorDhyanChand #NationalSportsDay”
