From favorite cricketer to inspiration, Sheldon Jackson answers his fans in a chat session

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman Sheldon Jackson interacted with fans on social media and answered a few questions related to cricket. He was asked about his cricket inspiration and favorite cricketer by fans. 

Jackson named MS Dhoni as his cricket inspiration in the chat session and shared a picture with him. He also shared his favorite cricketer and wrote, "too many to choose a favorite but if I had to choose one then @gautamgambhir55".

Back in April, Jackson had donated to Gautam Gambhir Foundation (GGF) to fight against COVID-19. GGF was working to help the needy people in the pandemic.

Further in the chat, the 34-year-old revealed the story behind his son Noah's name and at what age he started playing cricket. "We named him after NC Gohil sir and Niranjan Shah sir the two people with the biggest impacts on my life. 

"One made me a cricketer and the other established me as a cricketer. So luckily both the sirs; names started with N and that's how we named him," Jackson, who started playing cricket at the age of 7, wrote the story behind his son's name. 


Jackson will be in action for Kolkata Knight Riders in the second phase of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, due to start on September 19. He was recently in news for moving back to Saurashtra for the upcoming domestic cricket season, after playing for Puducherry in the last season.
