India women's batter Jemimah Rodrigues was seen in a new role on Tuesday (August 10). She made her commentary debut in The Hundred for Sky Sports during the Manchester Originals vs London Spirits match.
Rodrigues enjoyed the experience of her commentary debut and she thanked the broadcasting team for having her in a tweet. "What an experience!!! Thanks, @SkyCricket for having me in the Comm Box today ???? PS: Stay tuned… something exciting coming up ???????? @markbutcher72 #TheHundred #CommBoxDebut," she wrote.

India men's cricketer Dinesh Karthik lauded her work and wrote that she did a fabulous job. Karthik further added that he was happy to see her following the only rule in the commentary box.
To which, Rodrigues surprisingly asked him about the rule as she wasn't aware of it. Karthik hilariously responded to her tweet and roasted Nasser Hussain and Rob Key, his co-commentators.
Jemimah ended the conversation by coming up with an equally funny reply which Karthik wouldn't be expecting.
Karthik also made his debut in the commentary box on England tour. He has been part of Sky Sports' commentary panel since India's ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand.
