WATCH - Rahul Dravid teaches British High Commissioner to India a cricket expression in Kannada

The British High Commissioner to India, Alex Ellis, learned a cricket expression in Kannada from none other than former India cricketer Rahul Dravid. Alex posted the video on his official Twitter account which featured Dravid.

Alex is currently in Bengaluru and he caught the eyes of Indians on Twitter with his recently conducted Twitter poll on how he should eat his dosa. But this time, he was excited to learn the cricket expression in the local language.

"Cricket expressions in Indian languages part 2. Today, we’re down south in Bengaluru. What better teacher than ‘The Coach’ #RahulDravid, who taught me this in #Kannada ಕನ್ನಡ ????," he tweeted.

In the video, Alex said, "England and India are playing each other. I'm on the hunt for the best Indian cricket expression. We have come to Bengaluru and we have one of the greatest players to have played the game and he's going to teach me and you one phrase in the language of the state - Kannada".

He further asked, "What's the expression?", to which Dravid replied, "Bega Odi" which means 'one run'.
