Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar has a complaint about BCCI president Sourav Ganguly. Gavaskar, on the Extra Innings show on Sony network, shared an anecdote from his playing days.

Gavaskar said Sourav's father used to arrange a big handi of 'Mishti Doi' and Rosogulla for him whenever the team went to Kolkata for a Test match. Ganguly's father was the secretary of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).

"Whenever I go to Kolkata, I always have mishti doi. When I was the captain of India, Sourav Ganguly's father, who used to be CAB secretary at that time, used to receive me at the Airport. Later, he used to arrange a big package of mishti doi for me in the refrigerator of the hotel room. We used to stay for eight days for a Test match at that time, and along with mishti doi, he used to bring Rasgulla as well," he said.

The 72-year-old further said that Ganguly, on the other hand, doesn't bring him such a big package of mishti doi despite holding a bigger position in Indian cricket. "I only have one complaint. Those days the secretary of CAB used to bring such a big package of mishti doi to me, but the current BCCI president did not give me anything so far," he added.

Virender Sehwag was sitting next to Gavaskar in the studio and he jokingly added that Sourav Ganguly should bring sweets for him as well. Both the ex-cricketers are currently part of the commentary panel for the ongoing Test series between India and England.
