Playing for Southern Brave against London Spirit, De Kock displayed brilliance on the field to script his team’s thrilling four-run victory at Lord’s.

Chasing 146 to win, Josh Inglis was looking set to take Spirit’s over the line before De Kock pulled off a stunner to cut short his knock on 43-ball 55.

In the 86th delivery of London Spirit’s innings, Inglis decided to play a reverse sweep off Chris Jordan and tickled the ball away. However, wicketkeeper De Kock was able to anticipate the shot as he moved over slightly to his right and dived full length to complete an acrobatic one-handed grab.

Quinton de Kock also took two more catches in Spirit’s innings as their innings folded for 141/7 in 100 balls.

Earlier, the southpaw scored 27 off 14 balls (2 fours and 2 sixes) while opening the innings to lead the foundation for Southern Brave’s 145/6.
