India batsman Shreyas Iyer is on the road to recovery after dislocating his left shoulder earlier in March. Iyer had to undergo surgery and now he has almost recovered from it to resume practice.

On Friday (July 24), Iyer posted a video of his indoor practice session on Instagram. But it wasn't a raw clip as the Delhi Capitals (DC) captain joined the trend to share the batting video with his fans.

Iyer synced the sound of shots with the beat of the song and fans loved it. He wrote, "Bat back in my hand. There’s no better feeling. ???????? Grateful to everyone who’ve been helping me on my road to recovery."

The DC skipper is confident of returning to the IPL 2021 in September after missing the first phase of the tournament. Iyer had spoken about his recovery in a chat with The Grade Cricketer's Podcast.

“My shoulder, yes, I think the healing process is done. Now it's the last stage of achieving strength and range. So that's going to take about a month and the training is obviously going on. Other than that, I feel, I will be there in the IPL,” he said.
