WATCH- Virat Kohli urges everyone to cheer for the Indian athletes in Tokyo Olympics 2020

The Tokyo Olympics 2020 are set to kick off from July 23rd.

India's Archery team reached Japan | TwitterThe Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli in a video recently shared by BCCI on social media urged Indian citizens to cheer for national athletes participating at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The multi-sport world event is set to kick off from July 23rd.

The first batch of India's 88-strong Olympic-bound contingent reached Tokyo on Sunday morning to participate in the COVID-19 affected Tokyo Games.

#TeamIndia captain @imVkohli is cheering for our athletes at @Tokyo2020 Let's join him and #Cheer4India @IndiaSports| @Media_SAI | @WeAreTeamIndia,” BCCI wrote as the caption to their tweet.

As far as the Indian cricket team is concerned, they have regrouped in Durham apart from a couple of players who tested positive and have been put in isolation. The team has started training for the upcoming practice game against the Select Counties XI, ahead of the upcoming five-match Test series against England.

The five-Test series will begin from August 4 with the first Test at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
