The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday announced the groupings for the upcoming Men's T20 World Cup 2021 that will be hosted by BCCI in Oman and United Arab Emirates (UAE) from October 17 to November 14.
The venues for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 are Dubai International Stadium, the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, the Sharjah Stadium, and the Oman Cricket Academy Ground.
The BCCI secretary Jay Shah who was delighted to announce the groups from Oman felt it will be a huge moment for cricket fans there and was pleased to take the sport there.

The BCCI president Sourav Ganguly on the other hand pointed that the Oman became a venue for a World Cup for the first time and also praised the beautiful ground.
“Oman becomes a venue for first time in a world cup ..beautiful ground ..first visit to oman,” Ganguly wrote as the caption to his Instagram post along with a photo of him with BCCI secretary Jay Shah along with other match officials posing with the trophy.
