WI v AUS 2021: WATCH – Dwayne Bravo, Fabian Allen team up to grab a brilliant rebound catch to dismiss Aaron Finch

West Indies defeated Australia by 6 wickets in third T20I to clinch the five-match series.

Dwayne Bravo and Fabian Allen's outstanding fielding effort | ScreengrabWest Indies continued their domination over Australia in the ongoing T20I series as they registered a comprehensive six-wicket victory in the third game at St Lucia to clinch the five-match series.

The hosts outclassed the visitors in all facets of the game but the highlight of the match was West Indies’ outstanding fielding effort.

One brilliant piece of fielding was witnessed in the 12th over when all-rounders Dwayne Bravo and Fabian Allen paired up to put on a display of an acrobatic catch to dismiss Aaron Finch.

In his attempt to break the shackles, the Australian skipper ended up skying a delivery from Hayden Walsh between long-on and deep mid-wicket.

Bravo, who was running towards his right from long-on, attempted the catch and almost made a mess of it but he was intelligent enough to guide it to Allen on the rebound.

Fabian Allen, who ran towards his left from deep mid-wicket in anticipation of the catch, had the presence of mind to not only keep his eyes firmly on the ball but also put in a dive to complete the grab.

Here’s the video:

Coming to the match, Australia posted 141/6 in 20 overs after opting to bat first. Moises Henriques was the top scorer with 29-ball 33 while Finch scored 31-ball 30.

In reply, West Indies rode on Chris Gayle’s brutal 38-ball 67 to overhaul the target with 31 deliveries to spare.
