Barmy Army posted “Happy Birthday MS, some amazing battles over the years”, with a photo of MS Dhoni from the 2019 World Cup match between England and India, which India lost as they didn't seem to go for the chase in the last 10-12 overs or so.

Indian cricket fraternity sends wishes to MS Dhoni on his 40th birthday

Dhoni remained unbeaten on 42 in 31 balls as India managed 306/5 in reply to England’s 337/7 and lost the match by 31 runs. This was India’s only loss in the 2019 World Cup league stage, as they made it into the semi-finals of the tournament, only to lose to New Zealand.

Meanwhile, this birthday wish for MS Dhoni didn’t go down too well for his fans, who chose to reply in their own way on Twitter. They reminded the Barmy Army of MS Dhoni's Indian team defeating England in the final of the 2013 Champions Trophy, coupled with photos of Dhoni's knock of 134 against England in 2018.
