Chennai Super Kings (CSK) members wished MS Dhoni as he turned 40 on Wednesday (July 7). From Sam Curran to Ruturaj Gaikwad, a number of CSK players wished for the good health and success of Dhoni.
The likes of Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Imran Tahir, Deepak Chahar, and Robin Uthappa expressed their love for the former India captain. Dhoni, who quit international cricket last year, is now playing Indian Premier League only.
Curran featured at the starting of the video and he said, "Hey MS, wishing you a very happy 40th birthday. Hope you have a fantastic day. It’s been great to get to know you in these last couple of years at Chennai. Thank you for everything you have done for me, for the team.
"Really loved playing with you. Hopefully, we can get to play together for a few more years. You’ve got a lot left in the tank. Enjoy your birthday and see you soon. Cheers."

Dhoni and Raina have been good friends for a long time. The 34-year-old wished him on a special day and said, "Hi skipper! Wishing you lots of love and happiness and lots of happy birthday wishes. Have a long life and make sure you enjoy life with you loved ones. Happy birthday, brother."
Jadeja is also among the cricketers who are close to Dhoni. They have played for India and CSK for a long time. "Hello Mahi bhai! Wishing you a very happy birthday. Stay happy, stay fit. Looking forward to see you very soon," the all-rounder said.
Youngster Ruturaj got the opportunity to play under Dhoni from the last IPL season. He has been in awe of the CSK skipper's personality since then. In his birthday wish, Ruturaj said getting to watch Dhoni play everyday is a dream moment for him.
"Many, many happy returns of the day Mahi bhai. Everyday, seeing you, watching you play on the ground is a dream moment for me personally. May you continue to play for CSK and have a very long career," he said.
Fast bowler Chahar who has learned a lot under the leadership of Dhoni said, "Happy birthday Mahi bhai and please don’t stop playing cricket, especially for CSK." Tahir thanked Dhoni for the help in his birthday wish. "I hope you have a lovely day. Thank you very much for all the help and always being there, not only for me but the whole team. Thank you very much," he said.
All-rounder K Gowtham said: "Thala, Wishing you many, many happy returns of the day. Thanks for inspiring us and motivating us. Hope we keep playing under you. Happy Birthday Thala."
Uthappa also had the privilege to play under Dhoni's captaincy for Team India. He is currently a part of the CSK squad. "Happy birthday brother! Hope you’re having a wonderful day. Enjoy yourself, See you soon, lots of love. Happy birthday," he wished the CSK captain.
