Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed was furious after a bouncer by Lahore Qalandars speedster Shaheen Afridi hit him on the helmet and led to a heated argument between them during Pakistan Super League (PSL 6) match.
The incident happened during the 19th over of Gladiators' innings when Shaheen's short delivery hit the helmet of Sarfaraz and the latter exchanged a few words while completing a single.
Umpire Aleem Dar called for a physio to check on the batsman while Lahore captain Sohail Akhtar and senior Mohammad Hafeez separated the two cricketers.
Shaheen wasn't happy with the former Pakistan captain's reaction after the bouncer. Later after the match, Ramiz Raja asked him why did he bowl the bouncer in a sarcastic tone.
To which, the pacer replied, "Ramiz bhai, it's a part of the game. I don't want anyone to hit four against me. It's the aggression of a fast bowler".
Sarfaraz scored unbeaten 34 runs and his team posted a total of 158/5 in the match. In reply, Qalandars could only manage 140 and were bowled out in 18 overs. Shaheen went wicketless but he gave only 28 runs in his four overs.
