The Indian team is readying itself for the ultimate challenge of facing New Zealand in the final of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) which begins on June 18 in Southampton’s Ageas Bowl Stadium.

The match will see the top two ranked Test teams going against one another for the ultimate prize of USD 1.60 million and the championship mace, while the loser will have to contend with USD 800,000.

New Zealand recently dethroned India as the no.1 ranked Test team after beating England 1-0 in the two-match series. India, on the other hand, has been practicing seriously in the Rose Bowl for the WTC 2021 final and has played an instar-squad match as well.

On a lighter note, the BCCI shared a video of Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Mohammad Shami, Ishant Sharma, and R Ashwin taking part in a fun rapid-fire Q&A session.

The questions ranged from favorite English breakfast to answering three Bollywood movies shot in the UK and three things the players liked to do in England. All of them gave funny answers but Mohammad Shami and R Ashwin took the cake in terms of hilarity in their answers.
