India cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar urged everyone to donate blood to save the lives of others on World Blood Donor Day on 14 June 2021. He also posted a video on Twitter showing himself donating blood.
Sachin Tendulkar had recently recovered from COVID-19 and was seen donating blood outside his residence in Bandra. Back in April, Sachin had also urged his fans to unite against COVID-19 and donate plasma if permissible.

The Master Blaster was tested positive early this year and he later donated his plasma in a Plasma Donation Centre, which the former Indian cricketer himself inaugurated last year.
