Jaffer took a hilarious dig at Vaughan over his tweet on WTC 2021 FinalFormer India opener Wasim Jaffer hilariously trolled Michael Vaughan of England after he said that New Zealand will win the ICC WTC 2021 Final or the World Test Championship Final by defeating India at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.

New Zealand hammered England by eight wickets to clinch the Edgbaston Test. With the win, the Black Caps registered their first Test series win in England since 1999. For England, it was their first home Test series defeat since 2014.

Vaughan congratulated New Zealand for their performance and opined that he fancied the Black Caps over India in the WTC final which starts June 18.

ENG v IND 2021: Preparing green tops for India series won't do any good to England- Michael Vaughan

NZ are a high class team .. Read the situation with the Bat in hand, skilful with the ball & catch brilliantly .. Really fancy them to beat India next week .. #ENGvNZ

Replying to the tweet, Jaffer shared a meme featuring Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal from the film ‘Welcome’. It also had a message for Vaughan saying that he could go as his work was done (Tera kaam ho gaya tu ja).

It was a dig at Michael Vaughan’s ability to jinx teams something that he has proven he is quite good at multiple times and Jaffer and he shared a funny relationship on Twitter. The ex-England captain hinted at Jaffer when asked to name a cricketer he would like to block on social media.
