Yuzvendra Chahal thanks everyone for prayers after his parents recovered from COVID-19

India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal posted a family picture on Instagram after his parents recovered from COVID-19. He thanked everyone who helped them in this tough time.

Chahal can be seen sitting next to his wife Dhanashree in the picture, while his parents pose behind them. Sharing the photo, he urged everyone to stay safe as COVID-19 can cause serious damage to the body.

"Thank you, everyone, for all your prayers and support ❤️????????????," Chahal wrote on Instagram. "We are overwhelmed with the help that we received from our friends/ family and all your messages ???????? Parents are healthy and we urge everyone to stay safe," he added in the caption.

Chahal was last seen in action for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 2021. The tournament got postponed after RCB played 7 matches. They were at the number three spot in the points table with 5 wins.

The leggie can be included in the upcoming Sri Lanka tour in July. Team India is scheduled to play three ODIs and T20Is each and the team will not include Test specialists as they would be on England tour at that time.
