Australia’s Steve Smith is obsessed with batting. He is known to be a compulsive shadow batter, mock-tapping his willows whenever he gets an opportunity.

Recently, Smith’s wife Dani Willis shared throwback pictures of his blindfold shadow batting ritual on Instagram and trolled him hilariously.
"Flashback to Steve doing Steve things. I think he was trying to work out which bat had the better pick up?! @steve_smith49," she wrote in the caption.
Dani's post left Australia's limited-overs skipper Aaron Finch in splits as he reacted with emjois featuring a face with tears of joy.
Steve Smith was last seen in action during the now-suspended IPL 2021 for Delhi Capitals (DC). He featured in six games and scored 104 runs before the tournament got suspended due to multiple COVID-19 cases inside bi-bubbles.
Smith and Australia’s other IPL-bound cricketers completed their quarantine in Sydney on Monday (May 31) after returning home via Maldives. Notably, the Australian government had imposed travel ban from India in the wake of the second COVID-19 wave.
