India's veteran wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik turned 36 on Tuesday (June 1) and wishes poured in for him on social media. Ex-cricketer Yuvraj Singh posted a tweet for Karthik and wished him on a special day.
Yuvraj urged Karthik to "be less hyper this year", while Vinod Kambli recalled his Nidahas Trophy knock and stats from T20I cricket. Karthik had smashed a six off the last ball against Bangladesh when India needed 5 runs to win.

"Happy birthday @DineshKarthik god bless buddy! Be less hyper this year ????????♀️ ???? ????," tweeted Yuvraj.
"While everyone remembers his Nidahas Trophy Final innings, don't forget that he has the 2nd best strike-rate for Indian batsmen in T20Is. Wishing you a very happy birthday @DineshKarthik," Kambli wrote.
Apart from Yuvraj and Kambli, Shreyas Iyer, Wasim Jaffer, and Harbhajan Singh also posted their birthday wishes. Even Karthik's IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders and BCCI tweeted for him.
