After completing the mandatory 14-day isolation in Sydney, the Australian contingent that was involved in the first-leg this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL 2021).

The 40-member Australian contingent that contained the likes of Steve Smith, Pat Cummins, David Warner, Michael Slater and many more players, commentators and support staff members, had to reach Australia via Maldives.

Thus, the left-hand batsman took to Instagram and posted a photo of him having dinner with his wife.

So good to be back with my bestie @candywarner1 cheers my love. #wife #missedyou #wine #loveyou,” Warner wrote as the caption.

David Warner had a terrible IPL 2021 as the Sunrisers Hyderabad could only register one win in the 7 matches they played. Not only that but whole cricket fraternity was divided after the Hyderabad-based franchise decided to sack Warner as their skipper and appointed Kane Williamson to lead the side for remainder of the season.

With the second leg of the tournament to be held in UAE in the September-October window, it will be interesting to see if the Aussie players return as Cricket Australia is yet to provide any update on the availability of their players in the mentioned period.
