After the suspension of this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) owing to COVID-19 cases spiking across the country, all the cricketers had to return home. The Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder Hardik Pandya is one of them.

While the Indian Test team is currently in quarantine as they are supposed to travel to the UK for the World Test Championship final followed by a five-match Test series against England, Pandya is spending quality time at home and is ‘creating memories’ with son Agastya.

The 27-year-old posted a photo of him with son Agastya sitting on his lap and having a quality father-son session on Instagram.

Creating memories for life,” Pandya captioned his Instagram post.

Since the all-rounder is not bowling due to an injury, he was not considered for the UK-bound Indian team. Even some cricket experts and former cricketers had explained that Hardik Pandya the batsman doesn’t fit in the Test team.

It was also suggested that it will be long before the right-hand explosive batsman makes a comeback to the longest format.

As the senior pros are already under quarantine, all eyes will be on Pandya as Team India also tours Sri Lanka for an ODI and T20I series in July. He could be one of the prime contenders for captaincy of the young side with the first-choice team in UK.
