India women’s opening batter Smriti Mandhana who was named in the Indian team that will be leaving for the UK for the multi-format upcoming England tour. While the batter is in quarantine in Mumbai, she took to Instagram to reveal her ‘morning ritual’.
In the throwback video posted by Mandhana, she can be seen driving a roller on the field. The 24-year-old cricketer captioned the video saying, “Morning rituals at my ground!! #aatmanirbhar #throwback.”

Recently, Mandhana was awarded a grade A contract by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) when the board announced annual contracts for senior women's teams. In this contract, the players will be receiving INR 50 lakh each for the period between October 2020 and September 2021.
As Team India will be traveling to the UK for three-match ODI and as many T20I series along with a one-off Test match, the left-hand explosive batter was selected in all the squads.
Mandhana will also be playing in the upcoming edition of The Hundred along with her teammate and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur. She will be representing Southern Brave in the tournament while Kaur will be playing for Manchester Originals.
