Twitterati roast Shaheen Afridi as he calls father-in-law to be Shahid Afridi as ‘LALA’ in his get well soon message

Shahid Afridi recently confirmed that Shaheen will be his son-in-law in the future.

Afridi was due to turn up for Multan Sultans as the PCB has decided to stage the remaining 20 games of PSL 6 in Abu Dhabi after getting the necessary approvals from UAE government.

“While training for the remainder of @thePSLt20, I felt lower back pain & had to consult a doctor. Unfortunately I have been advised to rest and can no longer accompany my team @MultanSultans. I am heartbroken Broken heart as I was practicing and training really hard,” Afridi informed the fans through a tweet.

After his post, social media got flooded with best wishes for Shahid Afridi. His son-in-law to be and Pakistan speedster Shaheen Afridi also made a tweet, wishing the former Pakistan skipper a speedy recovery from the injury.

However, Shaheen referred Shahid as ‘Lala’ in his tweet, which drew hilarious reactions from the netizens. Notably, Lala is used to call elder brother with respect in Pakistan and some regions of India.

In his recent TV interview, Shahid Afridi confirmed that Shaheen will be his son-in-law in the future.

"We Afridis have eight tribes, Shaheen and we belong to different tribes," he told GeoTV.

In March, Shahid Afridi has tweeted, “Shaheen's family approached my family for my daughter. Both families are in touch, matches are made in heaven, if Allah wills this match will be made too. My prayers are with Shaheen for his continued success on and off the field.”
