Team India batsman Shreyas Iyer took his official Twitter account and posted a video of himself training at the gym.
Shreyas Iyer partially dislocated his left shoulder while fielding during the ODI against England which further ruled him out the remaining of the series against visitors and then later was ruled out of the entire IPL 2021.
The right-handed batsman had to undergo surgery after suffering a blow to his shoulder. After having successful surgery, Shreyas Iyer has begun his rehabilitation.
"Surgery was a success," Shreyas Iyer promises to come back in no time after shoulder surgery
On Thursday (13th April) Iyer posted a video on his official Twitter account as he returned to the gym for the first time in over a month and shared the video of him doing exercises.
“Work in progress. Watch this space,” Shreyas Iyer captioned the video.
Shreyas Iyer’s absence was a major blow for Delhi Capitals in IPL 14. However, in his absence stand-in-skipper, Rishabh Pant didn’t disappoint the fans. The wicketkeeper-batsman led the team to a top-of-the-table finish in the first half of the season with 6 wins from 8 games.
