Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik got the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday (May 11). He shared a picture of himself getting vaccinated on his Twitter account and received a hilarious comment from Australia batsman Chris Lynn.

Lynn took a jibe at Karthik's camouflage pants and wrote that he should have at least worn pants while getting vaccinated. "Could have at least worn pants," he wrote in reply. Both of them have a good friendship as they spent time in KKR frachise before Lynn moved to Mumbai Indians.

Karthik was up for the banter and he also came up with a funny response to his ex-KKR teammate. "I was thinking shorts like you, then realized I'm not in the Maldives. So wore this," he wrote.

The Australian cricketers are currently in the Maldives before flying back home as there is a travel ban in their country. 

Earlier, India captain Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ishant Sharma, Deepak Chahar, and Jasprit Bumrah got vaccinated.
