No wonder, Veda is feeling a huge void in her life and she shared a heartfelt note for her “dearest Amma and Akka” on social media.
Taking to Twitter, Veda on Monday (May 10) wrote: “To my beautiful Amma and Akka. The last few days have been very heart breaking to all of us at home. You both were the foundation of our house never imagined I would be seeing this day knowing that you both are not with me, it breaks my heart.”
“Amma, u have made a brave child, taught me to be as practical as I can in every situation the trait obviously is passed on by you. You were the most beautiful, happy and selfless person I ever knew. Akka, I knew I was your most favourite person. You are a fighter, have inspired me to never let go till the last minute,” she added.
Veda Krishnamurthy further wrote that her world has turned upside down after the demise of her mother and sister. She also thanked everyone for showering love and support in the last few days.
In the end, Veda urged people to follow the covid rules strictly and take proper precautions.
India is currently battling the second wave of COVID-19, with several other cricketers also losing their family members and relatives. The Indian Premier League (IPL) was also suspended last week because of the deadly virus.
