Bollywood actress and RCB skipper Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma celebrated his 33rd birthday on Saturday (2nd May). 

She took to her official Instagram account and thanked her fans for the birthday wishes. The actress said that she didn’t felt right to celebrate it amid the ongoing Covid crisis in the country. 

India is undergoing a severe health crisis at the moment with the second wave of COVID-19 wreaking havoc across the country. There are more than 19.5 million cases in India at the moment and states have imposed curfews and other restrictions as they try to curb the spread of the deadly virus.

Anushka Sharma further mentioned that she along with her husband Virat Kohli are coming together to do their bit in India's fight against COVID-19 and the couple will share the details with their fans soon so that they can also be a part of the movement. 

"Virat and I are coming together to do our bit, we will share details soon so that you can also become a part of this movement. Stay safe and take care," Anushka Sharma said in a video posted on her Instagram.
