India’s Hanuma Vihari made an immediate impact on his English county cricket debut for Warwickshire as he took a brilliant one-handed catch against Nottinghamshire in the match being played at Trent Bridge.
Nottinghamshire captain Steven Mullaney won the toss and elected to bat first.
Olly Stone and Will Rhodes, along with Tim Bresnan kept taking wickets at regular intervals to reduce Notts to 63/4. After a short partnership between skipper Mullaney and Tom Moores, Hanuma Vihari was seen in action, as Mullaney flicked a ball from Rhodes off his pads towards the mid-wicket.

He was sure that the ball would sail over the fielder for a four, but Vihari paddled back and jumped to take a nice one-handed catch to send him back.
Will Rhodes ended the day with 4/50 as Nottinghamshire finished on 221/8.
Vihari will play at least three County matches for Warwickshire before he joins the Indian Test squad for the World Test Championship final against New Zealand in Southampton in June. India will then take on England in a five-Test series in August-September.
