Irfan Pathan becomes fourth India Legends player to test positive for COVID-19

Tendulkar, Badrinath and Irfan's brother Yusuf had also tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Irfan Pathan played for India Legends in Road Safety World Series

Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan has confirmed that he has tested positive for COVID-19. He is now quarantined at home though he is not having any symptoms.

Taking to Twitter, he posted a statement urging people who have come in contact with him recently to also get themselves tested and urged everyone to wear masks and take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

Irfan is the fourth India Legends cricketer after captain Sachin Tendulkar, S Badrinath and brother Yusuf Pathan to have tested positive for the virus. The former cricketers took part in the Road Safety World Series in Raipur recently and won the tournament by beating Sri Lanka in the final.

The 2007 T20 World Cup winner announced his retirement from professional cricket in 2020. He took 301 wickets and scored 2821 runs across all formats for India.
