"You have prayers of billions around the world," Sir Viv Richards wishes speedy recovery to Sachin Tendulkar

West Indies legend Sir Viv Richards shared a message for Indian cricket great Sachin Tendulkar after he was tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday (March 28). Lots of good wishes poured in for Tendulkar after he shared the news on his official Twitter account.

Richards said Tendulkar has prayers of billions of his support from all around the world and he wished him a speedy recovery.

"Wishing well and a very speedy recovery to my man @sachin_rt. Get well soon little master. You have prayers of billions around the world," he wrote on Twitter.

Tendulkar was recently part of the Road Safety World Series 2021. His India Legends teammate Yusuf Pathan was also tested positive for Coronavirus.

Sharing that he has 'mild symptoms', Tendulkar had tweeted, "I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I've tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative."

"I've quarantined myself at home and am following all necessary protocols as advised by my doctors," he added.
