Indian cricket fraternity wishes speedy recovery to Sachin Tendulkar as he tests positive for COVID-19

Tendulkar confirmed the news of his diagnosis through social media.

Taking to Twitter, Tendulkar said that he took all necessary precautions to ensure he kept Covid-19 at bay but he developed mild symptoms.

"I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I've tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative,” Sachin tweeted.

The batting legend is currently in home isolation as advised by his doctors.

“I've quarantined myself at home and am following all protocols as advised by my doctors,” he added.

As soon as the news surfaced, social media got flooded with wishes for Sachin Tendulkar’s speedy recovery.

It is worth mentioning here that Sachin Tendulkar recently took part in the Road Safety World Series tournament in Raipur. He led India Legends to the title win by defeating Sri Lanka Legends in the final last Sunday (March 21).
