Veteran Indian spinner R Ashwin is now finally out from the national team’s bio-bubble after helping the hosts to clinch the four-match Test series 3-1 against England at home last week.
The 34-year-old off-spinner picked up 32 wickets in the Test series and scored 189 runs including a century in the second Test to play a major role in India’s 3-1 series win over England last week.
As the focus now shifts to white-ball cricket and Ashwin isn’t part of India’s limited-overs squad, the veteran cricketer got a break to spend some quality time with his family at home after spending nearly two months in a bio-bubble for the recent Test series against England.
Noteworthy, Ashwin was named the International Cricket Council (ICC) men's player of the month award for February for his brilliant performance in the recent home Test series against England.
While India set to lock horn against England in the five-match T20I series starting March 12 (Friday) in Ahmedabad, Ashwin is spending fund time with his daughters and family and his wife Prithi Narayan has given a glimpse of how the cricketer is enjoying the break at home.
On Friday, Prithi took to Instagram to share an adorable video wherein the spinner can be seen playing with one of his daughters.
She captioned the video, “The kind of love torture I get a break from when @rashwin99 is home,”
